During the private session, Safiya works with you through body awareness and energy healing, listening to what your body is holding and following what emerges in the energetic field. The experience is shaped by what emerges in the moment and may include energetic clearing, somatic awareness, imagery, sound, or other intuitive healing processes that arise during the session.

What others are saying about Dr. Safiya Maouelainin
I attended Write Circle: Tangled Truths with Dr. Safiya. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned into a beautiful experience. This particular Write Circle was about the stories our hair tells us and my hair took me on a journey of wind, spiderwebs, ocean currents and love. I enjoyed doing this so much that I signed up for another class.
You know how powerful this lady is. Truly. I get goosebumps just thinking about the healing I’ve experienced in her free workshops alone. This isn’t coaching: it’s real healing!! What Dr. Safiya does is deeper. It’s as if she reaches into your pain and gently, skillfully, removes the glass from the wound. And not just that: she holds space for the healing to actually begin, to continue, to complete. That’s a rare gift. One of a kind. She’s not just a guide; she’s a vessel for something bigger. Every time I speak about her work, I feel awe.
These Write Circles are absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone! Very healing and releasing and just beautifully done!
About Dr. Safiya Maouelainin
Dr. Safiya Maouelainin is an author, Therapeutic Writing & Energy Practitioner, and fifth-generation Bedouin healer from Morocco. With a Ph.D. in Languages and Literature from Johns Hopkins University and a lifelong relationship with storytelling, she brings together writing, embodiment, energy healing, and ancestral wisdom in her work.
She is the creator of Write Circles™, experiential healing spaces where guided meditation, automatic writing, somatic awareness, and energy work come together to help people listen beneath the thinking mind and access the stories held within the body, subconscious, and soul.
Her work is rooted in the understanding that the stories we inherit can carry both wounds and wisdom, and that listening inward can reveal forgotten strengths, deeper knowing, and new possibilities for the stories we choose to carry forward.
Dr. Safiya also created and hosts The Write Within™, a YouTube series of cinematic symbolic healing journeys exploring the language of the body, subconscious, and soul.
Her fiction has also been recognized for its emotional depth and storytelling, including winning the 2022 Short Fiction Break Grand Prize for her story Hearts & Stitches.
